Heavy Engineering Workshop (H.E.W.) was established in the year 2002, and started production in 2003, as a manufacturing arm of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL), which is a conglomerate of various reputed industries & enterprises, belonging to a diverse spectrum, mainly in Cement & Power sectors.

Since then it has forayed into the manufacturing of Equipment & Structures with quality standards of International class and a determination to achieve delivery as per customers’ requirement.

From Elevators to Belt conveyors, from Kilns to Vertical Mills, from Stacker Reclaimers to Hydro Mechanical equipment, from Silos to Oil Storage Tanks, HEW had it all during a short Journey of 10 years.

HEW has designed manufactured, tested and supplied equipment to major core sectors like Hydro Power projects, Cement Industries, Coal / Limestone mines, Super Thermal Power Plants, Steel, Fertilizer, Edible Oil, Railways, Port mechanisation in India and abroad, which has already crossed the mark of 60,000 Tonnes delivered so far.
